The UKACC International Conference on Control (CONTROL 2010) is the eighth in this now well established series of prestigious biennial events and will take place at Coventry University, Coventry, UK. CONTROL 2010 will be organised through the Control Theory and Applications Centre (CTAC), an interdisciplinary research centre based within the Faculty of Engineering and Computing. CONTROL 2010 is a truly international event supported by strong industrial involvement.

Preliminary arrangements
The programme will consist of traditional themed tracks with contributed and invited papers as well as tutorial sessions and workshops. Special interactive sessions comprising a mix of computer software-algorithm demonstration along with shorter presentations will also be included, allowing hands-on experience with the latest developments. As the programme develops more news will appear here, check back regularly for updates. The final programme will be available after submission of all full papers in July 2010.
A further category of short industrial papers will be featured on Industry Day along with the three mini-symposia organised by the three professional member bodies of the UKACC: The Institute of Measurement and Control, The Institution of Engineering and Technology and The Institution of Mechanical Engineers. In addition there will be three plenary presentations (one on each of the first three days) and two semi-plenary presentations on the last day. It is planned that a Pre-Conference Workshop for postgraduate research students will be held on Monday 6th September, with a limited number of places being available.
